SC Braga Overwhelms Alverca in Uneven Match
Alverca do Ribatejo, Portugal – SC Braga demonstrated their superiority by defeating Alverca in their Primeira Liga match held at the Complexo Desportivo FC Alverca. From the start, Braga imposed their pace of play, evidenced by 67% ball possession compared to Alverca’s 33%.
Braga’s offense quickly materialized with a goal from D. Rodrigues in the 12th minute, assisted by Roger, followed by another goal from R. Horta in the 14th minute, assisted by L. Lelo. A penalty converted by A. El Ouazzani in the 36th minute further consolidated Braga’s lead.
Although Alverca tried to react, their offense was limited, managing only 3 shots on target out of a total of 10. Discipline was also a problem for the home team, with two yellow cards shown to Chiquinho and Naves. Braga, for their part, received a yellow card for Vitor Carvalho.
