Alverca Wins Hard-Fought Match Against Nacional
Alverca do Ribatejo, Portugal – In a tightly contested and eventful match, Alverca managed to defeat Nacional with a score of 2-0 at the FC Alverca Sports Complex. The match, corresponding to the 13th matchday of the Primeira Liga, was characterized by a balanced ball possession, with 50% for each team.
Despite the equality in possession, Nacional showed a greater attacking intent, registering a total of 17 shots, although only 3 of them managed to be directed at the rival goal. Alverca, for its part, generated 10 shots, with 4 of them requiring the intervention of the goalkeeper.
The first goal of the match came in the 6th minute, scored by Lincoln for Alverca. Despite having missed a penalty previously, Lincoln compensated with his assist to open the scoring. The match remained tied until the final minutes, when Marezi extended the lead for Alverca in the 88th minute, after an assist from D. Gui, thus sealing the victory for the home team.
