Cienciano Dominates Alianza Universidad in Huánuco
Huánuco, Peru – In a match held at the Estadio Heraclio Tapia León, Cienciano convincingly defeated Alianza Universidad, demonstrating greater effectiveness in front of the opponent’s goal. Despite Alianza Universidad maintaining considerable ball possession (67%), they failed to translate it into clear scoring opportunities, with no shots on target out of their six attempts.
The first half favored Cienciano, who opened the scoring in the 35th minute with a goal by B. Da Silva. They extended their lead just before halftime, in the 44th minute, thanks to C. Neira.
