Alianza Lima Rout Cusco FC at Alejandro Villanueva Stadium
Alianza Lima achieved a resounding 3-0 victory over Cusco FC at the Alejandro Villanueva Stadium in Lima, in the opening match of the 2025 Peruvian Primera División season. The match, officiated by Daniel Ureta, was characterized by the home team’s offensive dominance despite having less possession.
Goals came early. At the 9th minute, Noriega opened the scoring with an assist from Quevedo. Lavandeira Hernandez extended the lead in the 18th minute, thanks to a pass from Castillo. Castillo sealed the victory with a penalty in the 55th minute.
