Alianza Lima edges past Cultural Santa Rosa in tense match at Estadio Alejandro Villanueva
Lima, April 19, 2025 – Alianza Lima secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Cultural Santa Rosa in a thrilling match at the Estadio Alejandro Villanueva. The game, part of the ninth round of the Peruvian Primera División, was characterized by tension and sending offs.
Despite dominating possession (55%) and registering more shots (12 to 12), Alianza Lima struggled to find the back of the net, with only one shot on target. Cultural Santa Rosa, conversely, proved more clinical in their attacks, managing two shots on target.
