Alianza Atlético defeated Deportivo Binacional in a thrilling match at the Estadio Mansiche in Trujillo. The game, part of the fourth round of the 2025 Apertura in Peru’s Primera División, ended with a 4-1 victory for the home team.
Despite having less possession (43%), Alianza Atlético proved more clinical in attack. A. Graneros opened the scoring in the 5th minute, assisted by E. Perleche. R. Espinoza Torres extended the lead in the 23rd minute, assisted by L. Olmedo. Deportivo Binacional pulled one back in the 49th minute through A. Gutierrez, assisted by G. Leyes. However, Alianza Atlético sealed the victory with goals from M. Perez (70th minute) and G. A. Larios Saavedra (84th minute), the latter assisted by L. Olmedo.
The match was marked by the red cards shown to J. J. Canela Torres of Alianza Atlético in the 13th minute and H. Timana of Deportivo Binacional in the 35th minute. Deportivo Binacional, with 57% possession, managed 11 shots (2 on target), while Alianza Atlético had 12 shots (5 on target).
