Málaga Overwhelms Albacete at Carlos Belmonte
In a match held at the Carlos Belmonte Stadium in Albacete, Málaga convincingly defeated the home team. Despite a split possession (43% for Albacete and 57% for Málaga), Málaga’s effectiveness proved decisive. Albacete took the lead with an own goal by E. Galilea in the 37th minute, but Málaga responded in the second half. D. Larrubia equalized in the 52nd minute, followed by a goal from D. Lorenzo in the 59th minute, assisted by I. Merino. Málaga sealed the victory with a penalty goal by Chupe in the 90th minute. The match was intense, with a number of corners awarded to Albacete (6) and Málaga (5) and several yellow cards shown to both teams (2 for Albacete and 1 for Malaga).
