Al-Wasl FC defeated Ajman in a match played at the Zabeel Stadium in Dubai. The game, corresponding to matchday 19 of the 2024 Pro League season in the United Arab Emirates, ended with a resounding 2-0 victory for the home team. Joao Pedro opened the scoring in the 27th minute with an open-play goal, assisted by A. Saleh. In the second half, Al-Wasl FC secured their victory with a penalty converted by F. Lima in the 73rd minute. Despite having more possession (58%) and more shots on target (4 vs 0), Al-Wasl FC also saw two of their players booked (Santos and Saleh). Ajman, on the other hand, also received a yellow card (Al Hosani) and had more corner kicks (6 vs 1), but their lack of precision in shooting prevented them from troubling the opposing goalkeeper.
