Al Wahda FC and Al Nasr played out a thrilling 2-2 draw at the Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Thursday, April 4th, at 4:30 PM, in the 20th round of the 2024 Pro League. The match was a back-and-forth affair with both teams enjoying periods of dominance.
Al Wahda FC took the lead through Omar Khribin’s goal in the 26th minute, assisted by Zouhir. Al Nasr responded with an equalizer in the 67th minute, courtesy of H. Mahdi. Al Wahda regained the lead in the 73rd minute thanks to a goal from Kruspzky, assisted by Khribin. However, Al Nasr struck back again in the 79th minute with Mabkhout scoring, assisted by Azarkan.
Despite the final score, Al Wahda FC enjoyed more possession (53%), took more shots (7 vs 6), and earned more corners (5 vs 1). However, Al Nasr was more accurate with their shots, hitting the target four times compared to Al Wahda’s two. The match was also punctuated by three yellow cards for Al Wahda FC and none for Al Nasr.
