Al Taawon Crushes Damac in Dominant Display in Buraidah
Al Taawon secured a resounding 3-0 victory over Damac at the Al Taawoun Club Stadium in Buraidah on March 8th, 2025, in a match that highlighted the significant difference between the two teams. The game, part of round 24 of the Saudi Pro League, saw Al Taawon completely dominate possession (74%) and create a plethora of chances (22 shots, 6 on target).
S. Mandash opened the scoring for Al Taawon in the 2nd minute, assisted by L. L. Chavez Cruz. Damac’s A. Harisi received a red card in the 8th minute, leaving his team to play a man down. Despite the numerical disadvantage, Damac held on until the 23rd minute when H. Bahebri doubled Al Taawon’s lead. L. L. Chavez Cruz added a third goal in the 37th minute to seal the victory.
