Al-Ittihad FC Defeats Al Sadd in Thrilling AFC Champions League Match
Doha, Qatar – In a vibrant and eventful match, Al-Ittihad FC triumphed over Al Sadd with a final score of 4 to 1 at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium. Despite Al Sadd maintaining 48% possession and taking a total of 22 shots, only 6 of them were on target.
The match began with controversy when a goal by Roberto Firmino for Al Sadd was disallowed by VAR in the 7th minute due to an offside. Al-Ittihad FC capitalized on their opponent’s initial confusion, with H. Aouar opening the scoring in the 10th minute. Shortly after, Y. En Nesyri extended the lead in the 18th minute.
