Al-Rayyan cruised to a 5-1 victory over Al-Khor in a thrilling match at the Ahmad bin Ali Stadium in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. The game, part of the 18th round of the 2024 Stars League, took place on March 7th, 2025 at 6:30 PM.
J. De Sart opened the scoring for Al-Rayyan in the 10th minute. Al-Khor struggled throughout the match, receiving two yellow cards to A. Sudarmanto (13th minute) and A. Rhaili (39th minute). In the second half, Al-Rayyan’s dominance was clear, with goals from Roger Guedes (53rd minute), Trezeguet (62nd minute), A. Bareiro (80th minute), and M. Saleh (86th minute). Trezeguet, who had an outstanding performance, provided assists for two of the goals. N. Mubarak managed to score a consolation goal for Al-Khor in the 67th minute.
Al-Rayyan controlled possession (58%) and created numerous scoring chances, with 25 shots (12 on target). Al-Khor, on the other hand, managed only 10 shots (5 on target), and were outplayed in all aspects of the game.
