Al-Nassr Edges Out Al Taawon in Thrilling Riyadh Encounter
Al-Nassr secured a 2-1 victory over Al Taawon in a captivating match at Al-Awwal Park Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The game, part of the 2024 Pro League’s round 32, was officiated by Brazilian referee Rafael Rodrigo Klein.
Al-Nassr dominated possession (63%) and created significantly more scoring opportunities (19 shots, 6 on target). Otavio’s goal in the 51st minute, assisted by Al Sulaiheem, put Al-Nassr ahead. Al Taawon fought back, however, with R. B. Martinez Tobinson scoring in the 70th minute, assisted by Mahzari. Despite a late push from Al Taawon, Al-Nassr held on for the win.
