Al-Nassr thrashes Al Riyadh in thrilling match
Al-Nassr convincingly defeated Al Riyadh 3-1 in a match played at the Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh, corresponding to matchday 27 of the Saudi Pro League. The match, refereed by Eric Lambrechts from Belgium, was marked by Al-Nassr’s dominance, controlling 67% of possession and creating numerous goal-scoring opportunities (19 shots, 7 on target).
Cristiano Ronaldo was the star of the match, scoring two goals (minutes 56 and 64), while F. Selemani scored the only goal for Al Riyadh in the 45th minute. Another goal for Al Nassr was scored by Sadio Mané in the 56th minute. Despite the scoreline, Al Riyadh showed more attacking intent, but a lack of precision and Al-Nassr’s solid defense prevented them from achieving a better result. The game saw several cards: two for Al-Nassr and four (including a red card) for Al Riyadh.
