Al Kholood defeats Al Khaleej Saihat in thrilling encounter in Ar Rass
Ar Rass, Saudi Arabia – Al Kholood edged past Al Khaleej Saihat with a 2-1 victory in a captivating match played at the Al-Hazem Club Stadium. The game, part of round 23 of the 2024 Pro League season, was a tense affair decided in the final whistle.
M. Sherif gave Al Khaleej Saihat the early lead at the 8th minute, but Al Kholood fought back with two successful penalty kicks converted by J. Muleka (16′) and M. Maolida (42′). Despite Al Khaleej Saihat’s superior possession (62%) and 12 shots (5 on target), Al Kholood proved more clinical in front of goal. The match was punctuated by numerous fouls, with Al Kholood committing 17 and Al Khaleej Saihat 13. Several yellow cards were also issued: two to Al Kholood and four to Al Khaleej Saihat.
