Goal Fest in Dammam: Al Khaleej Saihat Dominates Al Riyadh
Dammam witnessed a vibrant match at the Prince Mohamed bin Fahd Stadium, where Al Khaleej Saihat prevailed over Al Riyadh in a goal-rich encounter. From the start, the home team showed its superiority with a double by J. King in the 7th and 25th minutes, the first assisted by P. Fernandes and the second by B. Schenkeveld.
Despite a yellow card for M. Al Khabrani in the 38th minute, Al Khaleej Saihat maintained control until M. Sylla scored for Al Riyadh just before halftime with an assist from A. Al Harfi.
In the second half, J. King completed his hat-trick in the 56th minute, thanks to an assist from K. Fortounis. G. Masouras extended the lead for Al Khaleej Saihat in the 66th minute, again with Fortounis assisting, thus consolidating the victory. The match was also marked by the intensity of the game, reflected in the yellow cards for M. Al Hawsawi of Al Khaleej Saihat and M. Al Khaibari of Al Riyadh, as well as the difference in the number of fouls committed by both teams (9 for Al Khaleej and 16 for Al Riyadh).
Al Khaleej Saihat dominated ball possession with 56%, generating 17 shots, 8 of which were on target. For its part, Al Riyadh, although with 44% possession, managed to match in number of shots on goal (8), but with 18 total shots. The match, corresponding to the fifth round of the Saudi Pro League, made clear the offensive power of Al Khaleej Saihat this season.
