Thrilling Encounter in Dammam: Al Khaleej Saihat vs. Al-Ittihad FC Ends in a Vibrant Draw
Dammam, Saudi Arabia – The Prince Mohamed bin Fahd Stadium witnessed an electrifying match between Al Khaleej Saihat and Al-Ittihad FC in the seventh round of the Saudi Pro League. The match, refereed by Sami Ahmed Al-Jurays, ended in a draw that left fans on the edge of their seats.
Al Khaleej Saihat dominated the first half, with goals from J. King in the 14th minute, assisted by K. Fortounis, followed by a goal from K. Fortounis in the 18th minute, assisted by M. Kanabah. Fortounis extended the lead with a penalty in the 37th minute. J. King scored again in the 47th minute, with another assist from Fortounis. However, the second half saw an impressive comeback from Al-Ittihad FC.
Despite playing with ten men after a red card shown to Fabinho in the 32nd minute, Al-Ittihad FC showed great determination. M. Diaby narrowed the gap in the 51st minute, assisted by H. Aouar, and again in the 86th minute, this time assisted by M. Al Shanqiti. In a dramatic finale, F. Al Ghamdi equalized in the 90th minute, and M. Mitaj sealed the draw with a goal also in the 90th minute, assisted by F. Al Ghamdi.
The match was full of intensity, reflected in the yellow cards shown to M. Mitaj (22′), S. Al Shehri (27′) and Fabinho (32′) for Al-Ittihad FC, and to B. Schenkeveld (29′), M. Al Hawsawi (45′) and A. Al Haydar (90′) for Al Khaleej Saihat, in addition to the yellow shown to Diaby.
