Al Ain Stages Comeback Victory Over Al-Jazira in Thrilling Encounter
Abu Dhabi, December 15, 2024 – Al Ain mounted a spectacular comeback to defeat Al-Jazira 3-1 in a thrilling match at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium, part of the 2024 Pro League’s round 10. The game, marked by open play and chances for both sides, saw Al-Jazira take the lead through a goal by N. Fekir in the 52nd minute, assisted by Vinicius Mello. However, Al Ain responded with a dominant second-half performance. K. Laba emerged as the match hero, scoring a hat-trick (64th, 69th, and 86th minutes), with assists from Kaku and B. Mohammed. Despite Al-Jazira’s higher possession (52%), Al Ain were more clinical in attack, registering 9 shots on target compared to Al-Jazira’s 2.
