Al-Ittihad FC Triumphs Over Al-Hilal Saudi FC in Thrilling Encounter
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – In a high-scoring and exciting match, Al-Ittihad FC defeated Al-Hilal Saudi FC 4-1 in Round 21 of the Saudi Pro League. The game, played at the Al Inma Bank Stadium at King Abdullah Sport City, was officiated by Daniel Siebert from Germany.
Al-Hilal took an early lead with a goal from Marcos Leonardo in the 23rd minute, assisted by Joao Cancelo. However, Al-Ittihad responded strongly. Hatem Kadesh equalized in the 29th minute, assisted by Moussa Diaby. Steven Bergwijn became the match hero, scoring two goals (45th and 51st minutes), the second assisted by N’Golo Kanté, to give his team the lead. Despite a disallowed goal by Karim Benzema for offside in the 72nd minute, Benzema secured the victory with a goal in the 86th minute, again assisted by Diaby.
