Al-Hilal Crushes Pakhtakor in Riyadh

Al-Hilal Saudi FC convincingly defeated Pakhtakor 4-0 in the second leg of the AFC Champions League Round of 16 at Riyadh’s Kingdom Arena on March 11th, 2025. A dominant performance from the Saudi side, reflected in 65% possession and 20 shots, secured the victory.

Goals came early. H. Al Yami opened the scoring in the 31st minute, assisted by M. Kanno. Malcom doubled the lead in the 42nd minute, again assisted by Kanno. A penalty converted by S. Al Dawsari in the 51st minute sealed the match. Finally, N. Al Dawsari added a fourth in the 90th minute, with an assist from A. Al Hamdan.

Despite the loss, Pakhtakor showed fighting spirit, but Al-Hilal’s superiority was evident. The Uzbek team received one yellow card and committed 13 fouls, while Al-Hilal received two yellow cards. The match was officiated by Adham Mohammad from Jordan.
