Al-Hilal cruises to victory over Al Khaleej in Riyadh
Al-Hilal Saudi FC secured a commanding 3-0 victory over Al Khaleej Saihat at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh on April 17th, 2025. The match, part of the 28th round of the Saudi Pro League, saw Salem Al Dawsari shine, scoring two goals (26′ and 84′), the latter assisted by Aleksandar Mitrovic. Mitrovic himself added another goal in the 88th minute, with an assist from Rúben Neves. Al-Hilal dominated possession (59%) and created numerous scoring opportunities (24 shots, 9 on target). Al Khaleej struggled to threaten the Al-Hilal goal and had a late goal disallowed for offside. The match saw yellow cards for Al-Hilal’s Milinkovic-Savic and Al Shahrani, and for Al Khaleej’s Al Hamsal. Despite the win, Al-Hilal committed 16 fouls compared to Al Khaleej’s 5.
