Al-Hilal Overcomes Al-Duhail in AFC Champions League Clash
In a match held at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Al-Hilal Saudi FC defeated Al-Duhail SC with a final score of 2 to 1. The game, part of the AFC Champions League group stage, was characterized by Al-Hilal’s dominance in ball possession (63%).
Al-Duhail surprised by taking the lead in the 37th minute thanks to a goal by A. Boulbina, assisted by Y. Sabaly. However, the lead was short-lived. In the second half, Al-Hilal managed to turn the game around with goals from D. Nunez in the 57th minute, assisted by H. Al Yami, and from T. Hernandez in the 67th minute.
Despite the early goal, Al-Duhail was unable to convert possession and high pressing into more goals, with only one shot on target throughout the match. A goal from Al-Hilal was disallowed for handball in the 45th minute. The match was refereed by Shaun Evans from Australia. Al-Duhail received two yellow cards (Y. Aymen and Luiz Ceara), while Al-Hilal received none.
