Al-Ahli Jeddah secures narrow victory over Al-Fayha
Al-Ahli Jeddah edged out Al-Fayha with a 1-0 win at the King Abdullah Sport City Stadium in Buraidah, Saudi Arabia on November 22nd, 2024. The match, part of the 11th round of the Saudi Pro League, saw Al-Ahli Jeddah dominate possession and create numerous scoring opportunities.
Riyad Mahrez scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot in the 21st minute. Despite their early lead, Al-Ahli Jeddah received two yellow cards, one for Merih Demiral (52nd minute) and another for Bader Al Hurayji (54th minute). Al-Fayha also received a yellow card for Fashion Sakala in the 65th minute.
