Al-Fateh and Al Riyadh battled to a thrilling 2-2 draw at the Prince Abdullah bin Jalawi Stadium in Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia, in the 12th round of the Pro League. Referee Khalid Al-Ahmari oversaw a match that saw plenty of action. Al-Fateh, with 48% possession, took the lead in the 45th minute through S. Bendebka, assisted by A. Al Julaydan. However, Al Riyadh, enjoying 52% possession, fought back with two goals. A. Asiri scored in the 61st minute, assisted by Toze, followed by a goal from B. Mensah in the 81st minute. Despite Al Riyadh’s comeback, Al-Fateh managed to equalize. The game was characterized by a high number of yellow cards, three for each team. Both teams had numerous goal attempts with Al-Fateh registering 10 shots (4 on target) and Al Riyadh 13 (5 on target).
