Al-Hilal Overcomes Al-Fateh in Thrilling 5-3 Victory
Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia – Al-Hilal Saudi FC mounted a stunning comeback to defeat Al-Fateh 5-3 in a thrilling match at the Al Fateh Club Stadium, marking their 32nd game of the Pro League season. The match, officiated by Guatemalan referee Mario Escobar, was a rollercoaster of emotions from start to finish.
Al-Fateh started strong, scoring two goals in the opening 24 minutes through Sofiane Bendebka’s brace, assisted by Al Julaydan and Qasim respectively. However, Al-Hilal responded and leveled the score before halftime with a goal from Nasser Al Dawsari, assisted by Aleksandar Mitrovic.
In the second half, the visitors took control, taking the lead through Salem Al Dawsari, assisted by Malcom. Al-Fateh pulled one back with a goal from Mohammed Batna, assisted by Bendebka, but Al-Hilal sealed the victory with two further goals from Mitrovic, assisted by Salem Al Dawsari and Malcom respectively.
The game was a tense affair, with nine yellow cards shown across both teams and one Al-Fateh goal disallowed for offside. While Al-Fateh managed 5 shots on target, Al-Hilal dominated possession (66%) and had significantly more shots overall (28).
