Al-Ittihad Cruises to 4-0 Victory Over Al-Ettifaq in Dammam
Al-Ittihad FC secured a convincing 4-0 win over Al-Ettifaq in a thrilling match at the EGO Stadium in Dammam on November 30th. The game, part of the Saudi Pro League’s 2024 season, round 12, showcased Al-Ittihad’s clinical finishing and Al-Ettifaq’s struggles in front of goal.
Al-Ittihad took the lead in the 35th minute through N’Golo Kanté, assisted by Karim Benzema. Benzema himself had a goal disallowed for offside. Al-Ettifaq’s frustration was evident as they accumulated three yellow cards.
The second half saw Al-Ittihad dominate. Benzema added a second goal in the 53rd minute. Further goals from Houssem Aouar (66th minute) and Steven Bergwijn (70th minute), both assisted by Benzema, sealed the victory. Despite Al-Ettifaq’s attempts and higher number of shots, Al-Ittihad’s 56% possession ultimately translated into a comfortable 4-0 win.
