Al-Duhail SC defeated Al Wakrah 2-0 in a match played at the Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Stadium in Doha. The game, corresponding to matchday 15 of the Qatari Stars League, was characterized by Al-Duhail’s superiority in possession (51%) and shots on target (3 to 1).
Goals came in the 2nd minute, courtesy of K. Boudiaf assisted by A. Ali, and in the 56th minute, thanks to M. Olunga, also assisted by A. Ali. Al-Duhail had a goal disallowed for offside by Edmilson Junior in the 51st minute and received three yellow cards. Al Wakrah, despite their inferior number of shots, fought until the end but couldn’t break through Al-Duhail’s defense.
