Al-Duhail SC Stages Comeback Victory Over Al-Khor in Stars League Thriller
Doha, December 7, 2024 – Al-Duhail SC secured a dramatic 3-2 comeback win against Al-Khor in a thrilling match at the Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Stadium in the 11th round of the Stars League. Al-Khor took an early lead with goals from A. Al Mohanadi (41′) and R. Semedo (47′). Despite dominating possession with 72% (12 shots, 6 on target), Al-Duhail SC faced a resolute Al-Khor defense, committing 24 fouls and receiving 5 yellow cards. However, Al-Duhail SC fought back in the second half. Edmilson Junior pulled one back in the 72nd minute. Although Luis Alberto missed a penalty in the 84th minute, he scored shortly afterwards.
