Al-Gharafa staged a thrilling comeback against Al-Arabi SC at Doha’s Al Thumama Stadium, securing a 3-1 victory in the 20th round of Qatar’s Stars League. Al-Arabi SC took the early lead, with A. H. Marafee scoring in the 32nd minute, assisted by A. Alaaeldin. However, Al-Gharafa responded before halftime, equalizing through Y. Brahimi’s goal in the 45th minute. In the second half, Al-Gharafa dominated, scoring two more goals to secure the win. Joselu (76′) and S. Fadlalla (81′) netted the goals, with assists coming from R. Boussafi and A. O. Madibo respectively. Despite having less possession (52% vs 48%), Al-Gharafa were more clinical in attack, managing 15 shots (8 on target) compared to Al-Arabi SC’s 10 (4 on target).
