Al-Ahli Jeddah Crushes Al-Fayha in Dominant Display
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – Al-Ahli Jeddah secured a resounding 6-0 victory over Al-Fayha in a Pro League matchday 28 clash at the Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sports City Stadium. The match, officiated by Ivan Kružliak from Slovakia, showcased the home side’s complete dominance.
Ibanez opened the scoring in the 17th minute and added another in the 37th, both times assisted by Riyad Mahrez. I. Toney made it 3-0 before halftime in the 45th minute, also with an assist from Mahrez. The second half saw Al-Fayha play with a man down after O. Mosquera’s red card in the 48th minute. Toney scored a penalty in the 68th minute and Mahrez completed the rout in the 82nd, assisted by F. Al Buraikan. Al-Ahli Jeddah controlled possession (57%) and created numerous scoring opportunities (17 shots, 5 on target). Al-Fayha, in contrast, managed only 2 shots, with one on target.
