AIK Stockholm Dominates IFK Goteborg in Allsvenskan Clash
Solna, Sweden – AIK Stockholm convincingly defeated IFK Goteborg in a match held at Strawberry Arena, part of the 13th round of the Allsvenskan. The home team, with 41% possession, showcased their effectiveness in front of goal, scoring three goals that sealed their victory.
The first goal came in the 30th minute, scored by F. Benkovic, assisted by A. Csongvai. Earlier, in the 11th minute, J. Hove from AIK received a yellow card. IFK Goteborg suffered a blow before halftime when K. Filling extended AIK’s lead in the 43rd minute, assisted by T. Ayari. Previously, I. Jagne of Goteborg had been cautioned with a yellow card in the 29th minute.
In the second half, AIK continued to control the game, and in the 61st minute, J. Hove, assisted by F. Benkovic, scored the third and final goal. T. Santos from IFK Goteborg received a yellow card in the 67th minute. Despite having 59% possession, IFK Goteborg failed to convert their chances, finishing the match without shots on target. AIK, with 15 total shots (5 on target), displayed greater precision. The match was refereed by Oscar Johnson from Sweden.
