Fluminense Crushes Águia de Marabá in Copa do Brasil
Belém, Pará – In a match played at the Estádio Estadual Jornalista Edgar Augusto Proença, Fluminense crushed Águia de Marabá with a resounding 9-0 victory in the first round of the 2025 Copa do Brasil. The Rio de Janeiro team dominated the match from start to finish, showcasing overwhelming superiority in ball possession (63%) and goal-scoring opportunities (31 shots, 15 on target).
The goals came early and often. At the 12th minute, Canobbio opened the scoring. Cano added two more goals before halftime (14′ and 32′), and Ignacio added another just before the break (45′).
