AEK Athens Edges Out Atromitos in Tense OPAP Arena Clash
Athens, Greece – AEK Athens secured a victory against Atromitos in a hard-fought match at the OPAP Arena, part of the 23rd round of the Greek Super League 1. The game, played on February 15th, 2025, was marked by tension and yellow cards, with a total of six cautions issued.
Atromitos took the lead in the 10th minute through a goal from G. Tzovaras, assisted by N. Athanasiou. However, AEK Athens responded with a goal from N. Eliasson in the 32nd minute, assisted by R. Ljubicic, to level the score before halftime. In the second half, AEK Athens dominated possession (78%) and ultimately secured the winning goal in the 90th minute, scored by P.
