Cusco suffered a heartbreaking comeback defeat against ADT in Tarma. The match, played at the Estadio Municipal Unión de Tarma on April 28th, 2025, corresponding to matchday 10 of the Peruvian Primera División Apertura, ended in a thrilling 2-1 victory for ADT. F. Callejo put Cusco ahead in the 7th minute with a goal assisted by L. Colitto. However, ADT, with more possession (52%) and more shots (24, 12 on target), managed to turn the game around in the final stages. J. Vidales equalized in the 71st minute, and H. Rengifo secured the victory in stoppage time (90th minute). The match was marked by its intensity, with a total of 16 fouls and four yellow cards (two for each team). Despite ADT’s statistical superiority, Cusco showed their ability to compete until the very end.
