ADO Den Haag defeats Emmen in thrilling match at Bingoal Stadion
ADO Den Haag secured a victory against Emmen in a thrilling match played at the Bingoal Stadion in ‘s-Gravenhage on November 29th, 2024. The game, part of the 17th round of the Eerste Divisie and officiated by M. Vos, ended with a 3-1 scoreline in favor of the home team.
A. Schalk was the standout performer, scoring two goals (7′ and 42′). The first goal came early thanks to an assist from R. Boakye, while the second was the result of a great combination play with L. Bonis. Emmen unfortunately scored an own goal in the 8th minute through K. Nikiema, but this was not enough to prevent the defeat. Despite having more possession (53%), Emmen lacked the attacking effectiveness of ADO Den Haag, who managed 20 shots (7 on target) compared to Emmen’s 8 (only 1 on target).
