AC Milan Dominates Verona at the Giuseppe Meazza
Milan, Italy – AC Milan convincingly defeated Verona in a Serie A match held at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. The game, officiated by Michael Fabbri, saw Milan control possession with 54% compared to Verona’s 46%.
The first half concluded with a lead for the home side thanks to a goal by Christian Pulisic in the 45th minute, assisted by Adrien Rabiot. Prior to that, Verona’s Al Musrati received a yellow card in the 43rd minute.
In the second half, Milan quickly extended their lead with two goals from Christopher Nkunku. The first came in the 48th minute from a penalty, and the second in the 53rd minute following an individual play.
Despite Verona’s attempts, which included multiple substitutions in the second half, they failed to significantly trouble the Milan goal. Verona managed 8 shots, but only one was on target, while Milan, with 11 total shots, managed to get 5 on target. The match ended with a clear dominance from AC Milan, both in the game and on the scoreboard. Verona committed 15 fouls, compared to Milan’s 5.
