Managua, Nicaragua – In a tight match marked by intensity, Nicaragua defeated Guyana at the Estadio Nacional de Fútbol, as part of the second round of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup. The match, characterized by physical play, resulted in seven yellow cards.
Nicaragua dominated possession with 54%, reflecting their intention to control the pace of the game.
