Istra 1961 secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Sibenik in a match played at the Stadion Aldo Drosina in Pula. The game, part of the 35th round of the Croatian HNL league, was marked by the home team’s efficiency. V. Rozic opened the scoring with a brace in the opening minutes (2′ and 4′). Sibenik had a goal disallowed for a foul in the 32nd minute. Despite a relatively even possession (51% for Istra 1961 and 49% for Sibenik), Istra 1961’s superiority in shots on target (5 to 2) proved decisive. S. Loncar sealed the victory in the 72nd minute, completing an outstanding performance by Istra 1961.
