Vitória Triumphs Over Cerro Largo in Dominant Display
Montevideo, May 15, 2025 – Vitória secured a victory against Cerro Largo at the Estadio Centenario in Montevideo, in a match corresponding to the fifth round of the 2025 CONMEBOL Sudamericana group stage. The game, officiated by Peruvian referee Joel Alarcon, showcased Vitória’s dominance in possession and goal-scoring opportunities.
Vitória controlled the ball with 70% possession, generating 15 shots, 6 of which were on target. Cerro Largo, on the other hand, managed only 7 shots, with just 1 on target.
