Kaiserslautern Edges Out Darmstadt in Thrilling Match
Kaiserslautern, Germany – 1. FC Kaiserslautern defeated SV Darmstadt 98 by a score of 2-1 in a thrilling match at the Fritz-Walter-Stadion on May 11th, 2025, in the 33rd round of the 2. Bundesliga. Luca Marseiler put Darmstadt ahead early, scoring in the 3rd minute with an assist from K. Corredor. However, Kaiserslautern responded quickly. M. Ritter equalized from the penalty spot in the 15th minute. Before halftime, R. Ache gave the home side the lead with a goal in the 45th minute, assisted by D. Hanslik.
