Slavia Praha Edges Out Sparta Praha in Thrilling Prague Derby
Prague, Czech Republic – Slavia Praha emerged victorious in a captivating derby against Sparta Praha, winning 2-1 at Fortuna Arena on Friday. The match, part of the Czech Liga Championship Round’s third matchday, was marked by intensity and a flurry of yellow cards.
Tomáš Chory put Slavia ahead in the 9th minute, assisted by Viktor Kusej. Sparta responded with a goal from Arber Rrahmani in the 56th minute, thanks to an assist from Erald Krasniqi. However, Slavia secured the win with a goal from Oliver Dorley in the 87th minute, assisted by David Teah.
