Al Wehda Club Edges Out Al-Fateh in Tight Jeddah Encounter
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – Al Wehda Club secured a 1-0 victory over Al-Fateh in a hard-fought match at the Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sports City Stadium on Friday, May 10, 2025. Despite Al-Fateh dominating possession with 65%, it was Al Wehda who capitalized on their chances. Abdelrahman Noor scored the winning goal in the 8th minute, assisted by Abdulelah Al Haji.
The match was a tense affair, featuring a total of 36 fouls and five yellow cards. Al-Fateh had 15 shots, but only two were on target, while Al Wehda managed 5 shots, two of which hit the target. Despite more possession and shots, Al-Fateh couldn’t break down Al Wehda’s resolute defense, who secured the win through clinical finishing.
