FK Jablonec convincingly defeated Sigma Olomouc 4-0 in a match played at the Stadion Střelnice in Jablonec nad Nisou, corresponding to the third round of the 2024 Czech Liga Championship Round. The home side dominated, enjoying 70% possession. The match was opened early with a goal from M. Cedidla in the 9th minute, assisted by J. Martinec. Before halftime, S. Nebyla extended the lead (44′), assisted by V. Chanturishvili. In the second half, M. Polidar (52′), assisted by A. Alegue, sealed the match. The victory was completed with a goal from D. Puskac in the 74th minute, assisted by M. Polidar. Sigma Olomouc, with only 30% possession, barely threatened the opposing goal and received two yellow cards, while Jablonec received only one. Despite a disallowed goal for offside in the closing stages, Jablonec’s victory was fully deserved.
