Telstar Thrashes Emmen in Thrilling Match in Velsen-Zuid
Telstar secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Emmen at the 711 Stadion in Velsen-Zuid, Netherlands. The match, part of the 2024 Eerste Divisie’s 38th round, saw Emmen control possession (68%), but Telstar proved more clinical in front of goal.
Goals from G. Offerhaus (4′), J. Hardeveld (24′), and Y. El Kachati (73′) sealed the victory for Telstar. Despite Emmen’s possession advantage, they managed only two shots on target compared to Telstar’s five. The game was a tense affair, with 17 fouls committed (8 by Telstar, 9 by Emmen) and three yellow cards shown (one to Telstar, two to Emmen).
