Monterrey defeats Toluca in thrilling Quarter-Final clash
Guadalupe, Mexico – Monterrey overcame Toluca 3-2 in a thrilling Liga MX Clausura 2024 Quarter-Final match played at the Estadio BBVA. The game, officiated by Guillermo Pacheco Larios, was characterized by intensity and a fluctuating scoreline.
Toluca took an early lead with an own goal from Víctor Guzmán in the 16th minute. Monterrey responded with goals from Nicolás De la Hossa (44′) and Sebastián Canales (50′), both assisted by Sebastián Medina, to turn the game around before half-time.
