Unión Santa Fe suffered a 2-1 defeat against Palestino in a thrilling match played at the Estadio 15 de Abril in Santa Fe. Despite having less possession (48% vs 52%), Unión Santa Fe managed to open the scoring in the 49th minute thanks to a goal by L. Gamba, assisted by J. Palacios. However, Palestino reacted strongly in the second half, scoring two goals in the 84th and 89th minutes, both by J. Marabel. The first was unassisted, while the second came from a pass by J. Arias. Palestino generated more shots on target (6 vs 5), and while both teams committed 14 fouls, Palestino received two yellow cards, while Unión Santa Fe remained without cautions.
