Nacional Potosí defeated Club Guaraní 2-3 in a thrilling match played at the Estadio Víctor Agustín Ugarte de Potosí. The game, corresponding to the fourth matchday of the 2025 CONMEBOL Sudamericana group stage, was a constant exchange of attacks. Nacional Potosí dominated possession (57%), registering 21 shots (6 on target) and earning 10 corners. However, Club Guaraní’s efficiency was remarkable.
D. Hoyos opened the scoring for Nacional Potosí in the 37th minute. D. Diellos extended the home side’s lead in the 61st minute, assisted by V. Abrego. Club Guaraní responded with a goal from D. Fernández in the 63rd minute, assisted by A. Manzur, and then equalized the match with a penalty converted by the same player in the 88th minute. Despite Club Guaraní’s late pressure, Nacional Potosí managed to hold on to the victory thanks to their two goals in the first hour of play.
