Dynamo Moscow defeats Krylia Sovetov in a thrilling encounter in Samara
Samara, Russia – Dynamo Moscow triumphed over Krylia Sovetov with a 3-1 scoreline in a vibrant match played at the Solidarnost Samara Arena this Sunday, May 5th at 3:30 PM. The encounter, corresponding to round 27 of the Russian Premier League, was marked by a Dynamo player’s expulsion and an own goal by Krylia Sovetov.
Dynamo started strongly, with Ngamaleu scoring the opening goal in the 2nd minute, assisted by Gladyshev. However, Krylia Sovetov had opportunities, although their lack of precision in shots (9 shots, only 1 on target) played against them. An own goal by Skopintsev in the 31st minute put Dynamo 2-0 ahead before halftime.
The second half became dramatic. In the 49th minute, Carrascal received a direct red card, leaving Dynamo with 10 men. Despite the numerical disadvantage, Gladyshev extended the lead in the 55th minute, thanks to an assist from Chavez. Krylia Sovetov managed to reduce the deficit, but couldn’t overturn the disadvantage, demonstrating Dynamo’s effectiveness in attack (16 shots, 9 on target). Gladyshev sealed the victory with his third goal in the 84th minute, assisted by Glebov. The match ended with a final score of 3-1 in favor of Dynamo.
Despite Krylia Sovetov’s possession dominance (60%), Dynamo’s effectiveness in shooting on target, along with the own goal, were decisive for the victory. The match was officiated by Evgeni Bulanov.
