Sochi Thrashes Arsenal Tula in Thrilling Match
FC Sochi defeated Arsenal Tula 6-1 in a thrilling match played at the Olimpiyskiy Stadion Fisht in Sochi on May 3rd, 2025. The game, part of the 31st round of the Russian First League, was marked by Sochi’s clinical finishing.
Despite having a goal disallowed for handball in the 24th minute, Sochi dominated the match. Arsenal Tula struggled, receiving four yellow cards, two of them going to Anton Kalmykov, who despite scoring his team’s only goal in the 53rd minute, couldn’t prevent his team from a heavy defeat.
Sochi opened the scoring in the 64th minute through R. Pasevich. R. Magal and M. Kramaric (from a penalty) extended the lead. In the closing stages, D. Martovoy scored twice to complete a stunning victory. The final score reflected Sochi’s dominance, ending in a 6-1 win.
