Al-Ahli Jeddah triumphed over Al-Hilal Saudi FC in a thrilling AFC Champions League 2024 semi-final clash at the Al Inma Bank Stadium in Jeddah. The match, officiated by Adham Mohammad from Jordan, ended in a 3-1 victory for Al-Ahli Jeddah, a scoreline that reflects the home side’s dominance in terms of goal-scoring opportunities.
Al-Ahli Jeddah started the game with two early yellow cards for Alioski and Majrashi. Despite this, they took the lead swiftly with a goal from Roberto Firmino in the 9th minute, assisted by Galeno. Issa Toney extended the lead in the 28th minute thanks to an assist from Riyad Mahrez, although one of his goals was disallowed for offside in the 49th minute.
